She’s Pregnant. What’s Next?
Whether the pregnancy was expected or came as a surprise, having questions or feeling uncertain is completely understandable. There may be important decisions ahead, and your partner may be looking to you for encouragement and support.
Here are a few helpful steps to consider:
-
Obtain a medical-grade pregnancy test.
-
Schedule an ultrasound to assess pregnancy viability (whether a miscarriage has occurred), check the pregnancy's location (in the uterus or ectopic), and estimate how far along she is.
-
Seek medical advice regarding all your options.
